New in RPE 2.1 – View Structure of your template

Document Outline in RPE 2.1 gives a high level structure of your template. The goal of the feature is to give a quick understanding of the document, by hiding the complexities within the template.

A new tab, Document Outline, is added to Studio template editor, which displays the document structure.

Enable “show in outline” property in RPE Studio for template elements that should be shown in Document Outline. The name and description properties will be used to show in Document Outline tab.

For more details, find feature documentation here.

  • Mark “show in outline” for higher level (parent) sections too.
    • Otherwise, empty parent section is shown in outline without any details.
  • Switch back to the section / element in template editor tab by selecting a section in document outline and clicking “click here to show in…”.
  • The element icon is used in document outline tab for every element. Hence, you should get understanding of whether the section is a table or a container or a paragraph from the document outline tab.
